Holiday Blog Hop and December Brain Boosts!

Doesn't it seem like everyone could use a little brain break, or maybe a brain boost, during the long school days in December? For my holiday tip, I'm sharing a little "wiggle break" resource for preschool through first grade that doubles as a review of story elementsMy December "Move It! Move It!" resource is a set of PowerPoint slides that displays 18 mini stories about several December holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year's Eve. As I project each story on our white board and read it aloud, my students turn on the drama and pretend to be the main character - acting out the story - beginning, middle, and end! These are great when you need a quick transition activity, or when your students are just feeling a little restless.

As a gift to my blog readers, this resource will be a freebie in my Teachers Pay Teachers store until Wednesday, November 28, 2018. There's a download link under the sample below. I'd love for you to try it with your students, and then leave some feedback about how you liked it! While you're downloading... be sure to follow That Library Girl, so you'll be notified about more of my freebies, new resources, and sales! Thanks for joining our blog hop today!
